This was our first time in a B&B Hotel, and we came away satisfied with our experience. Check-in was really quick and efficient, but I really struggled to hear what the receptionist was saying, particularly my questions regarding the payment for parking. More about this later. Our no-frills room was comfortable and had everything you would need for a basic stop; it was clean and well-maintained. I did find the door key system a bit odd, but since we were only there for one night, we only really accessed our room 2 to 3 times. On a longer stay, I would probably get a bit irritated by having to put an 8-digit number in every time I want to enter the room. The breakfast buffet was a bargain at £10 per person, and for such a small serving area, there was a good selection to choose from. Back to parking, the signs outside provide you with times and fees that overlap with the check-in and out times. We arrived at around 4:45, which was 75 minutes before the start time for overnight parking. This suggested we needed to pay the overnight fee of £10 and the day fee of £5 to make up the time until the overnight session started. The overnight parking session ended at 8:00 am, but we didn't need to check out until 12:00, so again, we were unsure if we had to buy another day ticket. Despite questioning the receptionist, we never really got a comprehensive answer. There was a different lady at the desk when we checked out, and she told us the parking starts when we check in and finishes when we check out. She agreed that the signs are very misleading. Now that we are acquainted with this chain of hotels, they will certainly be a consideration when booking future trips. We thought they were great value for money.

“Nice for price”

Hotel is not bad for the price nice and clean as-well .Food wasn’t too bad either but the drink was too expensive.The staff here were top notch very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again but would head out for the drinks cause of the price.

We have stayed at a few B&B Hotels across Europe and this did not disappoint. The staff were really nice and friendly. The rooms were clean, quiet and plenty of space for us two. We have stayed at a few B&B Hotels across Europe and this did not disappoint. The staff were really nice and friendly. The rooms were clean, quiet and plenty of space for us two. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold choices along with pastries etc. The car park was full when we arrived, so we parked in the car park across the bridge, which was no bother as it was mere minutes away from the hotel. Great location for the city centre and the football ground. Would definitely stay here again!
