This is a hidden gem that lies on the outskirts of the island. Getting there is quite a bumpy ride. But once you are there, you are met with the most welcoming staff and above all, the most amazing sea view. Waking up to this postcard perfect view is surely one of the highlights on this stay. The other great things are the room itself, which has all amenities needed with the most comfortable bed and pillows. The cleanliness is top class and the Wifi speed left nothing to complain about. The pool and the pool area are kept well and the pool water was divine. The seafront is featured the resting net right above the water, which was of course tested and approved. The breakfast buffet was perhaps not the best I have eaten, but the rare egg benedict made up for the minimal selection of cold cuts. All in all, this hotel is a returner. If only they had a small shop where I could get some midnight noddle or congee (or add these items into the minibar) and if the transfer service could be more in-sync with the departure/arrival time of the ferry, then this would be a five-plus rating. Keep up the good work and we will return!

This charming hotel sits on this quiet little island about 20 minutes by speedboat from Sriracha, and honestly, it's the kind of place where you can actually hear yourself think. The property is modern with that typical Novotel vibe—clean lines, contemporary touches, and those sea views that make you want to just sit on your balcony all day. I stayed in one of their Deluxe Seaview rooms, and waking up to the Gulf of Thailand stretching out in front of me was genuinely special. The resort positions itself as a tropical escape, and for the most part, it delivers on that promise. The property feels intimate without feeling cramped. That said, it's clear this is a relatively new property still finding its footing in some areas—the service can be inconsistent, and there are operational hiccups that remind you they're still working out the kinks. LOCATION: The location is both a blessing and a curse. You're on Koh Si Chang, which means you're genuinely away from the chaos of mainland Thailand. The hotel arranges speedboat transfers from their private pier in Sriracha (they offer a shuttle from the mainland Novotel to the pier), which is convenient. But here's the thing—you're quite far from the main village and popular tourist spots on the island. Walking anywhere feels like a hike, so you'll need to arrange transportation through the hotel or grab one of those three-wheeled tuk-tuks (they call them Skylab here), which can get pricey. The beach directly in front of the hotel is rocky—not really swimmable—so you'll need to walk or ride to other beaches if you want to actually get in the ocean. The trade-off is peace and quiet. If you're looking for nightlife or easy access to shops and restaurants, this isn't your spot. But if you want isolation with good views? You're golden. DINE + DRINK: The food was one of the biggest letdowns! My wife is a vegetarian, and everything we ordered(with customizations) failed miserably! So be careful about the food situation if you have dietary limitations! ROOM: We stayed in a Room with a Balcony and not in the villas/cottages, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Magnificient views of the sea from the sweet Balcony attached the room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa quality toiletries FACILITIES: A Joke of a Gym packed into a tiny room with just a few dumbbells and a couple of cardio stuff! But the stunning pool more than makes up for the lack of a Gym and other facilities! SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

We spent our New Year getaway at Novotel Koh Sichang, a lovely small island just 15 minutes by the hotel speedboat, which is very convenient when traveling with kids. Our room was very spacious and had a small balcony facing the water, which we really enjoyed. We stayed for 2 nights over the New Year, and the staff were very attentive and hardworking throughout our stay. The food was good, and we especially loved that the hotel organized a monk blessing on New Year’s Day. It was wonderful to see this beautiful tradition carried on—such a meaningful cultural experience that even foreign guests can truly enjoy.
