Stayed over for one night, arrived quite late. The man on reception was wonderful, really welcoming and helpful. Our room was lovely, a great size, clean and was a nice temperature on arrival despite the heatwave. Bed was comfy as is always the case with a premier inn. Great place to bed down for the night and get showered after a long car journey down. Loved the mood lighting in the room. We paid the parking on arrival by scanning the QR code. One thing we did find was Apple Maps took us to the wrong place, but google maps actually brought us to where we needed to be. Appreciated the fact we got given 2 room keys, as especially with it being late, meant myself and my daughter could stay in the room while my husband went for the bags from the car. One thing that did sour the stay was the breakfast at the restaurant across the carpark. Unfortunately, the woman who greeted us was quite rude. The sign said to wait to be seated, which we did, then she came over and seemed put out that we were there waiting to be seated. There was also an issue with the food as the pancakes available were all mouldy. Again, this same woman questioned if there was a problem and when it was pointed out, wasn’t apologetic, ordered someone else to change them and then blamed the weather. Whilst we appreciate the fact there has been a heatwave, a whole selection of mouldy food is unacceptable. Especially if kids were to serve themselves unsupervised. The cooked food was tasty.
