“Break away”
On visiting the moorland Garden Hotel this time it was just as good as the first time we went. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the food is excellent. “Delightful, delicious and dog friendly”
Wonderful location on Dartmoor National park with far reaching views with ponies just outside the hotel. Comfortable rooms and pleasant garden. Bar food and service very good unfortunately the main restaurant wasn't open in the evening. Dog walk on site with bedding, towel and bowls provided.

This hotel may be in need of some remedial work but I can’t recommend this hotel more. Rooms are lovely, staff are fantastic. Food is amazing. Great value for money. Extremely dog friendly.
