Our trip to this property is one never to be forgotten John picked us up from the airstrip with sparkling wine and snacks, and wearing an amazing smile. The drive to the lodge was like a mini game drive, where we spotted multiple animals. John was assigned to us for the rest of our stay, and what a wonderful guide he was. With him we experienced, not one but two leopard kills, giraffes play fighting, Lions lovemaking [this was hilarious] and best, an all out hippo fight. Our tent attendant was James was attentive and caring, he ensured the hot tub water was just right after a game drive. The care and attention was sincerely appreciated. Felix at the Canon shop was so helpful and did some amazing edits on my clicks. This property charged a flat $25 fee for use of a Canon R6 Mark 2. Chef Uttam, whatever we say about him it won't be enough, he was always available and ready to cook literally anything for us, even off the menu !!! Victor was the in house mixologist, amazing insight and he brought drinks back to us even before the glass finishes. This property is something that should not be missed, being all inclusive, they served amazing a la carte food, no buffet, high quality alcohol and all game drives were included. We spent 5 nights at this property and we didn't want to leave at the end.

I cannot put into words how amazing this trip and resort are. My husband and I exclusively stay at Marriott properties and the JW Marriott Masai Mara set the gold standard for hotels everywhere. The little details didn’t go unnoticed and the way every single staff member truly made the resort feel like home is unmatched. From Frank, to James, to Victor & Josiah, Patrick, Mama Doris, Dennis, Felix, and Fin we truly felt at home and like we will always have friends back in Masai Mara. No stone goes untouched, the smallest details shine through. From requests for meals, to custom cocktails, remembering our daily coffee order, and ensuring everything in between was elite I cannot recommend a visit here enough. Beyond that, we were able to learn more about culture through Dennis and the rest of the team. We cannot wait to return to Masai Mara and we cannot wait to return to the JW and catch up with everyone we met. I truly do not believe we will ever experience such a welcoming experience on vacation again.

Most awesome experience ever, in the best settings possible. Game drives with personal driver and guide Albert, wildlife literally just outside the lodge. Albert knew where to find the Big Five and told great stories about them. Game drives all five days mornings and evenings, but always a new theme or new animals to focus on. The lodge is simply perfect, from restaurant to bar to common area to rooms. But what really sets it apart is the dedicated, genuine and very personal service from everyone. We are very grateful for the opportunity to visit the park and just as much to having done this from the JWM lodge. We will be back.

This was our second time staying at JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge, and it felt just like coming home. The warmth of the staff, the peaceful wild surroundings, and the incredible service make this place truly special. Our safari guide Eric was absolutely fantastic. He is so friendly, passionate about animals and Masai Mara itself, and he really cares about making sure we have the best experience. He made good plans to make sure we saw all the lions we would like to observe. His knowledge and enthusiasm made every game drive unforgettable. The rooms are beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable, and perfectly blended into the wild nature. Waking up surrounded by the savanna is magical, and the tent suites feel luxurious yet cozy at the same time. Everything from the food to the service is top-notch. We will absolutely be back for a third time! Highly recommended!
