so lucky i happened to see a rec for this hotel and can't believe it was <10,000 yen/night in mar 2025 for how nice it was. all amenities like free drinks, really nice onsen, free brunswick pool table in great condition with aramith balls and cues with actual tips, small but clean functional gym, etc were ones i actually used for once. staff was super nice and you can just use any translation app if no one working can speak english. location can't be beat - close the the main train station and a few mins walk from the areas ppl come for. best experience and deal in my five months of traveling to japan the past three years tysm. also have never seen blackout curtains that work THAT well (i slept past 10am) and was so grateful to finally have a fridge that wasn't super loud and have to be unplugged at night. go to gjg espresso for the best coffee you'll find in this country - you won't be disappointed

We are home now, and in retrospect, this was one of our favorite hotels of the trip. We enjoyed a perfectly comfortable stay here. The room was a nice size with a couch and table. The furnishings appeared tired, but everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom with it's separate wet room was a great size. There was ample lighting. The public baths were nice, and there was a laundry although we did not use it. The breakfast buffet plus a set option was especially nice and a good value. The lobby had several seating areas to relax in. The staff was helpful, and made an excellent dinner suggestion for us the day we arrived. The hotel is close to the train station, and quite near the historic district.

the location is great, short walk away from the train station and the old town area. the hotel itself is surprisingly nice, compare to the price I paid. public bath and viewing lounge on the top floor is a nice addition. the room is quite spacey, very comfortable. the black-out blind work too well, I almost over slept. but definitely a good rest. the staff is also very friendly and helpful with recommendations. highly recommend, will definitely stay here again if/when i’m in kurashiki.

A very comfortable hotel in Kurashiki. There is a public bath attached but sometime can be too crowd. Room is clean and cozy, with comfortable bed. Service is very good and tourist friendly, I recommend here it is a good choice for foreigner.
