We loved this hotel. It was a great location and most importantly the staff was top of the line! Thanks for making our time in Venice memorable. We will be back and highly suggest this place to anyone who is looking!

Small hotel on the waters edge, the location is perfect, near a bridge to a water taxi and also close to the bus and rail terminal. Its not far from the newish bridge so it was really really easy to get too. Its a small quaint hotel ran by really friendly staff. The hotel is full of charm and feels very much part of Venice. Loved it.

“Very good and well situated old hotel”

An excellent stay here with only a couple of points losing a 'star'. Positives are the location, near plenty of places to eat and quick access to Ghetto area. An excellent stay here with only a couple of points losing a 'star'. Positives are the location, near plenty of places to eat and quick access to Ghetto area. Walkable from Train station but even easier from Guglie station on other side of canal for direct access to/from Marco Polo airport by vaporetto 15 Euro singles but might be extra for large luggage. Nice room for 3 but too warm in night - air-con NOT available cos its winter - and got a few mossie bites when window left open. Shower / toilet great. Breakfast was fine but repetitive, same every (4) day - good coffee, cheese and hams, hard boiled egg, toast/croissants/choc roll (inedible for me), fruits, cereals and juice. Enough for a start to the day. Very pleasant and helpful, knowledgeable staff make this a definite place to stay.

Stayed at the Hesperia from 21-23 Aug 2019. Its a tiny hotel tucked away around 10minutes walk from the Santa Lucia station. Really easy to reach on foot and by water bus. We were allotted a canal facing room on the 2nd floor. The hotel does not have an elevator but Carolina the manager (and I think the owner as well) helped us to carry our luggage to the room. She is an extremely courteous person and ever ready to help and guide you if you need anything. The breakfast was a cold breakfast with the usual cereal, fruit, croissants and boiled eggs The only downside for us was that the room allotted was a kind of duplex with bathroom and closet space on one level and beds on the upper level just under the roof. Also, the bathroom, though well equipped, was super tiny. The bath cubicle was around 3feet by 3 feet and that made it really difficult. Other than the discomfort with the bathroom, this is a perfect little gem of a hotel with super courteous staff. Word of caution: do not follow the reviews that say you can reach the hotel with a short walk over the new bridge connecting Piazzale Roma to the station area. These reviews do not mention that the bridge does not have a ramp for luggage. We learnt that the hard way!
