“So the neighbourhood has some rough edges”

If you're after somewhere basic and no thrills then you'll be satisfied. The staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast was adequate and varied. “Absolutely kindest and helpful staff !!!”
We stayed at this hotel two nights. Rooms modest but clean. Absolutely kindest and helpful staff - English speaking. There was no problem with leaving the backpacks for the day. Simple breakfast. Quite good location.
