Food is good (although breakfast is very limited...), the hotel grounds are verdant and well kept. Rooms are good, although a bit dated and not very big. Swimming pool quite small. Public beach is about 5 minutes walk, the hotel also has a deal with a private beach in the area. Unfortunately Covid-19 restrictions were not really respected, mask wearing and distancing was spotty at best.

“Excellent location”

I stayed in this hotel in early May. The location is perfect as it is close to the beach and is within easy reach of Forio on foot or by bus. I stayed in this hotel in early May. The location is perfect as it is close to the beach and is within easy reach of Forio on foot or by bus. The bus stop is almost outside the hotel or if you prefer walking, there is a footpath along the beach. Though it is near the road, the hotel is peaceful and quiet. The hotel has a nice large garden with palm trees, seating area, two outside pools and one inside thermal pool. There is also a whirlpool with adjustable temperature. The room is nice, the double bed is comfortable though a bit narrower than the queen -sized bed, there is a fridge and a safe. In our room 107 the safe looked like a picture in a wall, so it took us some time to find it. There are also two arnchairs if you want to relax inside, though it is much more pleasant to sit outside your room which is possible as there is garden furniture outside the room. We had half- board which was great as the food was absolutely mouthwatering. Breakfast sweet or savoury, evening meal lavish- first a selection of grilled or raw veggies, then soup, pasta and finally fish and a dessert to finish off the evening feast. The staff is friendly and very helpful- if you have a problem it is promptly solved. I would recommend this hotel strongly, it is definitely a good choice.

“Great holiday”

A week at the Pork Hotel la Villa was a great holiday. A beautiful small hotel 100 meters from the sea and 10 minutes walk from town. Rooms and food good. Some lovely ceramics to see. staff helpfull and Francesca speaks English.
